Designing for flood prevention + mitigation

In the complex political and economic Ghana that we live in, the big question we ask in our latest assignment is: can an independent group such as The Architects’ Project propose alternative methods for development to authoritative and government bodies for administration?

As the likes of David Kelley continue to adopt a human-centred, team-based approach to tackling sticky problems through design, we will explore and propose means of applying design-thinking and design methodologies across multiple fields of industries to prevent and mitigate the recurring floods in urban Ghana.
